The work of László Józsa, master potter from Korond, was born on 4 August 1960 in Korond. He graduated from schools in Korond and Odorheiu Secuiesc, as a pupil of Imre Sánta he worked in the Harghita Art Workshop in Csíkszereda, and later he worked in the Consumption Cooperative in Székelykeresztúr. László Józsa studied pottery with Sándor Máthé and Imre Fábián.
In addition to traditional Korondi ceramics, he makes unique innovations, from miniature pots (0.5 millimetres) to floor vases of 1.80 metres. His tiled stoves have been exported to Bucharest, Hungary and Germany. His pots are painted by his wife, Márta Józsa. His needle-engraved lace patterned plates stand alone.
He is a founding member of the Firtos Cultural Association and the Korondi Pottery Association.
This needle-engraved lace plate is 40 cm in diameter with a hook on the back.
