This year’s fundraising gala evening (21 December 2022) was organized by BEBAK (Friends of Elek Benedek), and like last year, this year’s event was very successful, we had the opportunity to welcome world famous competitors who have never been to Odorheiu Secuiesc.

We are grateful to Imre Haagen for his sacrificial work, to Levente Molnár, Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning opera singer, and to the singing students of the Partium Christian University for their wonderful performances, and to the Classical Singers from Sfântu Gheorghe for their lovely, smiling, heart-warming songs, reminiscent of Christmas in our childhood.

We are grateful to pianist Attila Székely for honoring us with his presence and for enchanting us with his playing. Thank you for the touching, solemn, heartfelt and beautiful songs of the Alla Breve Choir of Odorheiu Secuiesc.

We are grateful that the parish church of St. Nicholas in Odorheiu Secuiesc hosted this outstanding event, and we thank the Franciscan Sisters of Mallersdorf, Merkur for their kind work and support.

And last but not least, thank you to Ákos Endes Ábrahám for his poetry, beautiful and moving as always. May the Almighty grant us all a peaceful, happy and prosperous New Year!
