The work of L\u00e1szl\u00f3 J\u00f3zsa, master potter from Korond, was born on 4 August 1960 in Korond. He graduated from schools in Korond and Odorheiu Secuiesc, as a pupil of Imre S\u00e1nta. He worked in the Harghita Art Workshop in Cs\u00edkszereda, and later he worked in the Consumption Cooperative in Sz\u00e9kelykereszt\u00far. He studied pottery from S\u00e1ndor M\u00e1th\u00e9 and Imre F\u00e1bi\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
In addition to traditional Korondi ceramics, he makes unique innovations, from miniature pots (0.5 mm) to 1.80 m floor vases. His tiled stoves have been exported to Bucharest, Hungary and Germany. His pots are painted by his wife, M\u00e1rta J\u00f3zsa. His needle-engraved lace patterned plates stand alone.<\/p>\n
He is a founding member of the Firtos Cultural Association and the Korondi Pottery Association.<\/p>\n
The green painted and enamelled decorative tiles are 16 cm high, 16 cm wide and 1 cm thick. The piece was an old exhibition piece, but is in excellent condition<\/p>\n
